Heater & I/P fuses?
Hi:
I'm trying to determine if a blown fuse may be the source of a heater problem and am not sure if I found all of the fuse information in the owner's manual of my 97 F-150 regarding the heater.
I found that fuse #5 in the instrument panel fuse box protects the climate control blend door and A/C clutch coil, et al, but haven't really found any more fuses that look like they protect HVAC systesm. Are there more?
I've also found information on several fuses in both the instrument panel box and power distribution box related to the I/P system (blower relay, blower, and fuse panel batter feed). What the heck does I/P stand for?
Regards,
Mark

ya know, if the book says that it protects the blend door that could be possible. also another thing is do your driving/daytime lights work? i think thats the same fuse. i took mine out and afterwards my daytime lights didnt work (made me happy) then a week later i noticed my Cruise didnt work and about 2 weeks after that it got cold out and i had no control of heat.
anyone know if that could be the problem? did i pull the fuse and do a no no?
