excessive ping

well yesterday i put in a new headset and wire up my CB. i hooked up the stereo normally, but spliced the hot from the CB to the ign. hot of the stereo and the ground to the ground of the stereo. before i did all this, when i turned off the truck with the door open and the key in the ignition, it would ping. as soon as i took the key out, it would stop pinging. now i open the door, turn the truck off and take the key out, and it pings about 8 times then stops. whats causing this?

How about the color code ?

There is the circuit for the radio ( post radio fuse ) and the circuit that feeds the radio fuse ( and other things ).
