Fuse box codesand windows

I bought a 98 ford f150 with no manual and need codes for fuse box.
also, power windows just stopped, hearing a tone beeping like a relay going off
as I'm trying to push button to put up windows, neither side goes up.
I went through all fuses and none blown, checked relays one at 50% and changed it, but no luck in getting windows to go up. Any answers?

Go here for manual: https://www.fleet.ford.com/maintenan...ls/default.asp

Have you also checked the fuses in the engine?

Relays don't make a beeping noise, it is a beeping noise or a clocking noise ?

How do you get 50% on a relay ? ( they work or they don't ).

Power windows, start with checking for power to the driver's side switch, light blue w/ black stripe wire, hot in run or accessory key position

Thanks sully, for the info, The relay fuse i took to advanced auto and he said the relay was only pulling 50 % when a new one pulls 90% or better ,,,,I looked at him thinking the same thing you said to me , if its bad its bad. but being a chick..... don't know much about relays. anyway still no luck with the windows
as of yet. but i went and got a Chilton manual to go over the motor in the door
say a little prayer. LOL I wish i could just take it to someone, but I'm laid off work, so now I'm laying under the truck.... thanks a bunch Kim

Got me what the guy at advanced auto was talking about, not sure the advanced auto guy knew either ( they can pass a lot of bad partial information ).

The beeping noise, is it like the dinger with the key in the ign ?

I am thinking

1. Broken tab for key in ign, and the warnign is happening all the time.
- Happened to my Dad's 2001.

2. The SRS lamp is burnt out, and there is a LFC ( light Flash Code ) waiting.
- Best to turn the key from off to run ( do not start ) and see if the SRS / Airbag light is working.

The power windows could be the switch, the motor or the accessory delay relay, which powers the switch.
- Do you have ( or can you get a loaner from someone ) a meter that can test DC voltage ?

Don't let the guy at advance auto make you feel stupid, he is trying to sound smart. I love the bulb grease to make the bulb ( i.e. element ) last longer

dear sscully, don't laugh but still reading chiltons, may have to renew it, LOL only have it for 3 weeks, but right now im at a stop i fell down my basement steps carrying hand tossed pizzas to company, lets just say those pizzas where truely hand tossed... lol ( broke my ankle. but......
yes i have had a dc voltage on it and it came down to a one touch module wire , from the door to the inside fuse panel a short in it,SOME WHERE..... well i found out why it happened, i was trying to get a another car running, so i had the big bright idea to jump my truck to get another running well lets just say duhhhhhhhhhhhh, not thinking at all there
and the kicker is i have a battery charger in garage. Yes i deserve to be hung from toes,
so i created a huge monster for my self, and admit my stupiedness<a href="http://www.sweetim.com/s.asp?im=gen&lpver=3&ref=11" target="_blank"><img src="http://content.sweetim.com/sim/cpie/emoticons/00020461.gif" border="0" title="Click to get more." ></a>well any how now i need to find a door tool to remove it myself, the panel. and to make it really fun i called a dealer to get part and they never heard of a one touch module wire, he just said it had a short in it and to fix it,,,,,,,, yep i just go do that... lol back to square one..lost and a broke foot, i guess i have time to read it now ,lol thanks for listening to my wine, no cheese message.
