On the MFS, not the main headlamp switch.

The low beam test has 2 tests, with 3 tests in each one.
You gave 2 values for what is essentially 6 different tests.

If I assume the MFS was in the low setting , you have a problem.
The low beam position in the chart, pins 6 & 7 should be closed and pins 8 & 9 should be open.

You do have the correct pin numbers on the test list.

Top box is pins 7 & 9
Center box is pins 6 & 7
Bottom box is 8 & 9.

The MFS when in the low or FTP setting, pins 6 & 7 are what power the fuses 23 & 25, ( and if in the FTP setting, the high beam also ).

Are you sure of what infinity ( open ) looks like on your meter ( same settings, don't touch anything with the probes ).

SCULLY, let me first say that I greatly appreciate the time you have spent walking me througth the trouble shooting process on this. It wasn't until I was on my way home today from work that I thought to pull back on the MFS and sure enough my headlights came on. Out of all the initial things I checked and looked at I over looked the most simple of the process. At some point ( I still blame my fiancee as she drove the truck last LOL) the highbeams must have been turned on and there went my low beams. I can't even believe that I didn't think of it right away....dumbass.

Again, thanks for your help.

im having a problem with my lights (headlights and fog) now aswell. I installed the HIDS the way the instructions said to. it work great for the first day. the next day i went out and no lights. i checked all the fuse and got the same results that were mentioned earlier in the post. while playing around with the light switch i put on just the parking lights and my fog lights would work. when its on automatic lights nothing works except when i pull the mfs my hi beams come on. if i put it in any other position other than automatic or off my hi beams will stay on when i turn them on. tried switching the lights back to stock and nothing. So im pretty sure its the MFS but i just cant figure out why it would just all of the sudden go bad. also how much do dealerships charge to switch it out?

Start by checking the low beam fuses with a meter. You need to have the main headlamp switch in the head position ( and the MFS in the low position ) when checking the fuses.

You should have power on both pins on the fuse
