2000 F150 Electric Probelms

So my battery light came on about a week ago everything was working fine until last night when I was driving home I notices my lights were dimmer than usual and then the radio went off the the driving panel went out but truck was still running I killed the truck tried to start it.. Nothing but then 10 minutes later it started but lights still too dim to drive at night. Let the truck sit for 3 hours till daylight went back to the truck it started without jumping and all electrics worked for about 10 mins and everything started going out again same as the first time.

I recently changed the alternator under ~3000 miles
New battery about 6 months ago

Any suggestions? Couldn't find anything really similar to this in any other post

Few things.

Check the fuse for the rectifier field. This is in the BJB ( aka Battery Junction Box, Engine Compartment fuse panel ), Fuse # 11.

If this is good, time to check the harness for the alternator. Jbrew has a nice write up in this thread

Post #8 in the thread above has great pictures on what to check.

I would expect a bad fuse or the wire harness damaged.

You are going to want to have the battery tested, it could be too far gone to take a charge after what you had happen. Might come back with a good low AMP trickle charge, but considering the age, might just want to turn it in under the warranty and get a replacement one.
