headlight harness
ive seen the aftermarket harness used when bumping up the wattage of the original bulbs. anyone ever wire their own relay in? ive seen it done somewhere for like 6 bucks? just wondering. thanks guys
It would be 6.00 if :
1. You already had all the wiring
2. You were only doing the low beams
3. You were putting both low beams on the same circuit
4. Cutting the bulb connectors from the factory harness.
5. Using cheap no name parts.
Nothing wrong with any of the first 4 above, but 6.00 is cutting it a bit close.
A good Tyco ( Bosch ) SPST 12 V 30A relay is going to cost 3.00, to do both the high and low beams, that is 6.00 ( + tax or ship ).
Add in 2 fuse holders ~ 5.00 each.
2 Bulb connectors ( unless you are cutting them off the factory harness ).
