Reverse Lights
I have 2004 supercab fx4 and my reverse lights don't work. I checked the fuses and they're fine. Checked the socket for the bulb and there is no power going to it. Any ideas what the problem might be?

What fuses did you check ( there is only 1 for the reverse lamps on the truck ).
How did you check the fuse, the only sure way is with a meter on both sides of the fuse.
If you do not have reverse lamps on the truck, one way to check is to test the trailer tow reverse circuit on the 7 pin adapter. This would confirm if the DTR is working.
If that is dead, you will have to test the DTR ( Digital Transmission Range ) sensor on the side of the trans. You need to take safety precautions ( Parking brake, wheel chock,etc ) turn key to run- Do not start- and place into reverse.
The DTR wire you are checking is the Dark Green w/ Yellow stripe, this will have + DC V on it, when the truck is in reverse.
If the trailer tow adapter reversing circuit works, you will need to take apart the connector on the driver's side frame rail, need to lower the spare tie to see it.
In the connector, you are looking for the same Dark Green w/ Yellow stripe wire. After this connector there is another one to the rear of the truck, where the color changes to Black w/ Pinks stripe wire.
