best place to get thru firewall

I'm about to wire up some PIAA 540 series fog lamps. Where would be the best place for me to get thru the fire wall for the switch? Appreciate any input. 06 F150 5.4 4x4

They used to have large holes with plastic inserts ,one on each side , but now it's just a 3/8" hole. The battery and fuse box are on the passenger side .You can use the 3/8" hole or make your own. Make sure you always use a grommet when putting wire through sheet metal then seal everything well with silicone.Lots of room to feed wire under the top of the dash board and room to install switches on each side of the center panel.

By the brake booster there is a rubber grommet already installed in the truck.

Forget what is already going through this, it is easier to see from the engine compartment side.

When looking at the brake booster ( facing the rear of the truck ) look towards the engine and slightly below.

Yep, there's the same one on the Expys. If you stick your head in the driver footwell, up behind the top of the brake pedal, you should be able to see it. It's about 1-2 inches in diameter.

Use a metal coat hanger to stick through the grommet to help open it up and make it easier to feed the wire through.
