Question Data Link Connector (DLC) not responding

I'm having problem connecting on my E150's Data Link Connector (DLC). It's not responding. What could be causing the problem?

Do you mean the OBD2 connector? You don't say what year you have so I'm not sure what you have. IF it's the OBD2 connector, the power to that is on a fuse that also feeds the Cig lighter I believe. If you have an owners manual, it should tell you. Also don't know if the E is different than the F.

Check the cigar lighter fuse, usually when a code scanner cannot communicate with the vehicle, this is the cause ( not being powered by the vehicle ).
