Headlight Help/Suggestions

I just acquired a 1998 F150 LB. This is a ranch truck and the headlight lenses are scratched so badly that they don't put out enough light to my satisfaction.
I'm looking for options. I'd prefer to have a bright beam of light ahead of me lighting the roadway. What I have now is a scattering of light that doesn't reach very far ahead on high or low beams.
What's available?
Thanks for your time.

Don't know if they are beyond being restored back to factory or not.

Detailing forum here had a thread a while back on this topic.

Could be the lens type ( the fluting ) in it that is not helping.

Good order to try :
Restoring the headlamp ( thread with the full process in the care and detailing forum )
Replace the factory headlamp bulb with Sylvania SilverStar Ultra bulbs.

I would suggest last looking at aftermarket Lightning type headlamps, I see so many mixed reviews on them.
The 99-03 Lightning or HD headlamps I do not think fit your MY, the grille surround is a bit different. Maybe check the front end swap thread in teh 97-98 forum ?
