no headlights

Angry no headlights

Help no headlights 2001 harley davidson supercrew. had steering colum replaced ,had no high beams unplugged headlight checked high beam voltage none low beam voltage was there, plugged back in now no headlights. All fuses good voltage at switch and multiswitch no voltage at bulbs. thanx in advance

Did you check the high beam fuse, or just the left and right low beam fuses ?

To check the fuse, you would need to have the headlamp switch in the on position, and have the MFS pushed forward to power the fuse, else it will read no voltage.

Now that there is no headlamps, did you touch the bulb glass with your hand ?

If you check the low beam circuits at the bulb connector, is there still voltage there ?

no voltage at bulbs voltage everywhere else, manual says replace multiswitch, had one in the garage same story, no voltage at bulbs, didn't even remove bulbs just unplugged

Is it no voltage at the bulb connector for both high and low ?

What does voltage everywhere else mean ?

The service manual says test the fuses for power if the bulb connector has none, then test the MFS, not replace.
