seat swap wiring dilemma 2002 f150

I have a 2002 F150 7700 series with a bench seat. I bought a set of heated power seats from a 2002 supercrew in the hopes that they would bolt right in and would wire up with not much trouble.
My truck is pretty basic, looks like a fleet vehicle, so suffice to say there was no wiring for the seats. Seems they will bolt up fine, though.

I pulled up the padding and there is nothing there that resembles a wiring harness.

Is this a pain in the ***? I have read through a lot of posts on this site and others but have not read where the wiring should go. Is there a wiring harness I should buy, get from junkyard? Will a chilton book help?

If anyone knows of similar posts I would appreciate any help. Thanks

The trim level has a lot to do with what wiring is in the truck, without the time installed, on the "normal F-150" ( not the 7700 version ).

The XL trim level would not have any of the wiring installed on the 01-03 MY F-150s.

If you have taken the carpet up, and followed the path for the seat belt warning wiring, and not found the connector, chances are you will not find it anywhere, to the extent that the fuse panel will not have the female pins in the fuse block.

One place to start, is check the fuse panel for the pins, to see if both sides are installed, if not you will have to add the wiring yourself ( which will include running a fused circuit from the battery.

These are the diagrams for the seat heaters, and the driver's side power seat.
