06 FX4 drivers door lock not functioning.

My 06 FX4 had most of the switches replaced under warranty. Now that the warranty is gone, the drivers door lock will not function. It will not work with the switch, key pad, or the remote. It makes no sound, just simply won't work. I'm mechanically inclined and just need the correct parts, any ideas what part has failed?

Thanks

It should be 1 of 2 things normally.

Start with un-plugging the Power Door lock actuator, and apply power to the 2 wires. Polarity one way is lock, reverse polarity is unlock.

Next pull and test the PDL switch

If the lights dim when you press on the lock button, I would suspect the power door lock actuator is the cause, but best to test both the lock and the switch to confirm.

If both of these test OK, it would be the BSM/VSM or the wiring to the VSM causing the issue. If the Passenger's side will lock and unlock correctly, I would not think this is the case.
