Door ajar light..

My door ajar light won't turn off. Any ideas as to what the problem is? I know it's not the thing the door pushes in.

Thanks. I didn't feel like googling it. Takes forever to find right answers on google.

i know mine did it and i had to take out the dome light bulb because it was something in the light itself that kept that on but i did the fix for the door ajar light and that worked. had to get a new dome light to fix that from staying on

google ? Did you look at the top of this forum ?

https://www.f150online.com/forums/el...ying-read.html

Not too sure what "I know it's not the thing the door pushes in" means. Do you mean the door ajar switch, which is part of the door latch ?

If so, how did you diagnose this ?
