My remoter door locks are set so the unlock button unlocks all four doors. I want to change it so the first push unlocks the drivers door and the second push unlocks the other three. The manual says to push the lock and unlock button at the same time for 4 seconds and the turn single lights will flash confirming the change. The lights flash like they are supposed to but nothing changes.
The manual does not say if this is to be done in the locked or unlocked position or with the ignition on or off. The only time the lights blink after 4 seconds is when you do it in the locked position.
Am I missing something?

 

Are you talking about the factory RKE option ( 3 button remote ) or are you talking about the factory alarm / remote start ( 4 button remote ) ?
