Remote start problem

Hey Guys
I just bought a 2002 f150 and trying to figure out the remote start (looks like dealer installed).
It will crank, but no start. I could put the key next to the tumbler and it would start, so I went and bought a new bypass module from the dealer
#1L3Z-19G365-AB. Plugged right in and same problem. Do I need to program this new part? Help
Thanks

From what I understand the bypass does need to be programmed but how I have no idea. I am looking into buying a remote start and just picked up this bit of knowledge. I would call the dealer you bought it from, seems like they should have done that for you.

Good Luck
