just went on a trip driving for about 5 hours and my abs light comes on and stays on sat over night no light in morning drove truck around for about three days no problem on my trip home about four hours in my light comes back on home now light is off also Tried using cruise and have nothing which makes no sense i use it all the time fuse is good truck just came off warranty is there any to get abs codes its a 2006 super crew larait

 

ABS codes require one of the more advanced scanners ( like the WDS, IDS or the more expensive Snap on types ).

One thing you can check is the ABS module connector. The ABS module should be located below the Air intake on the driver's side. Make sure the connector is clean, and the pins are not dis-colored.

If the pins are clean and straight in the ABS connector, you are going to need to get the ABS codes pulled from someone with the correct diagnostic tool.
