temperature gauge went out
I have a 2001 f150 and the other day my temperature gauge/cardinal direction overhead went out and it wont cut back on. anybody had this problem before. is it possible to fix it yourself? any suggestions

Sorry, should have looked at your profile for the trim level.
If you are sure CJB ( aka Central Junction Box, Cab fuse panel ) Fuse # 23 is good, next would be to take down the overhead console, and check for power at the connector.
The White w/ Light blue stripe wire (circuit 294) is the circuit from CJB Fuse #23, hot in the run position ( need to turn the key to the run position to test ).
2 ground wires to the module ( both black to different ground lugs ), you can test with for power. If no Power is there, check to another ground in the cab, just to be sure.
This will confirm if the problem is with power to the Solid State Module, or if it is the Solid State Module itself.
