Blower motor stays on with key out

The blower motor on my 2002 F150 Supercab turns of full blast when the key is turned off and removed from the ignition. This has been an intermittent problem, so hard to pin down. Had to pull the fuse to turn off.

I seem to have a problem with the auto light swith as well, where the light come on in the middle of the night or day with the key out of the ignition. I just replaced the battery but it discharged over night, probably due to the lights or other current draw.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds like a wet GEM. Somewhat common problem, the windshield is not sealed correctly on the driver's side or the moon roof is leaking, and the water goes down the A pillar.
