Auto Headlamps 04 f150

Anyone heard of this,? when my lights come on in auto mode the only lights that work are my parking and driving lights, no headlights. If I switch it to manual my headlights work fine. Anyone? And yes I have searched.

Do you have any modifications to the headlamps or fog lamps ( HIDs, fog lamp mod, etc )?

Have you tried using the auto position without the fog lamps on ?

Have you tried putting your main headlamp switch in the auto position, and pushing the MFS forward ( so the high beams are on ).

Have you checked fuses :
F40
F6
F18
F107
F102

F23 & F25 should be OK, with the low beams working in the low position

No mods. Bone stock. If i turn off my fogs in auto all I get is parking lights. Weird. Everything works fine in manual switch.

All fuses are ok. You think it could be the switch?

The high beams work when the switch is on auto.

I have the same problem with my 05. I took it to Ford as the extended warranty was about to expire and they told me it was the security module in the BCM and about $400 to fix.
