did you check the fuses, to make sure none were blown ?
Did you have the Cruise Control recall done ?
Asking, some times Central Junction Box Fuse #15 blows, and this is related to a few things.

Most of the 00-02 MY was included in the recall, and I think ( not 100% sure ) it was expanded to include 97-99 and 03 later ( dad's 01 38' Itasca RV has the same recall now ).
