I have the same problem with my 98 F-150.
The wipers will not work at all, and the washer fluid will also not work.
I followed the directions above for cleaning the contacts inside the MFS, but still nothing.
I pulled a motor from a truck in a junk yard and still no go. I checked the fuses and relays as well. What am I missing? do I need to adjust the contacts in the MFS?

Yeah that sounds like a MFS switch problem since the fluid wont work either. I didn't have that problem so I cant really help. Sorry

You said you cleaned it, but no mention if you tested it

Might want to test it, prior to repalcing, just to be sure.

I have a 1998 F-150 xlt the wipers come on and off at random, I have replaced the switch in the column, the relays, and the wiper motor. They still come on randomly.. anyone got any suggestions on why and how to fix it.
