Air Bag Code 18
Air Bag Code 18
Howdy all,
I have an '06 Lariat Edition King cab that just recently started flashing an air bag code 18. Anyone know what that is? Trusk is still under electrical warranty, I'd just like to know before I go, ya know? Thx.

Ok, my depth of knowledge on this is nil. What is a PAD curcuit. yes I did have the center out to reconnect the flip down DVD viewer for the rear passengers. I'm the second owner, and there were a few mods done, prior to me, LOL. All 've done is add a Cobra 29 CB.

Sorry about thatT
The PAD lamp ( circuit ) is the Passenger Airbag Deactivation lamp, just above the radio.
I am in a lack of coffee fog ( this AM ) , but I thought it turned on and went off when you first started the truck. ( I cannot recall if it does right now for 100% sure ).
It could be the wires got pinched, or it is not plugged in well / at all.

That may be it. I don't remember re-connecting that one, LOL. I'll post back whatever the case, but knowing me, that's it. And I totally understand the coddee fog, LOL. Got mine going now!

LMAO. Yup, I forgot to re-connect the lamp. Thanks for the help, Scully. Now go get yourself a cup of hot C-O-F-F-E-E, LOL

Thanks for posting the help in the thread. I installed an aux. adapter this afternoon, and started getting this same error after. It looked like I had plugged the light back in correctly, but actually bent the pins (woops). Bent them back quickly, and now all is good.
