radio harness maybe?

I'm not positive this will work for what you want to hook up but there is an illumination wire on the wiring harness going to the radio. You may be able to tap into it to hook up what you want to correlate with the factory dash lighting. Just an idea.

i have taken apart the dash and have 4 free wires not hooked up a black, green, blue and brown one. can i use one of those?

are you just talking about a lighted switch for your compressor? like a light turns on when the switch is on and then off when the switch is off?

Don't know what those wires would be. It would probably be easiest to run an inline fuse and a relay

Inline fuses you can get at any autozone or radio shack and you can pick the size fuse needed.
