I am trying to get a Lariat cluster to work in my truck and the only thing that doesn't work is my A/C compressor. The light on the A/C button works and lights up but the compressor doesnt kick on. I am trying to wire it so it does. My thought is that the Lariat has digital climate control, so I need to manually wire the comressor. Hope someone can help!

 

Did you have the cluster loaded with the "as built" data for your trucks PCM?
When swapping clusters, you gotta have ford load the data on the cluster so that your ac works and your mileage is correct.
This is usually the most PITA part of the swap and pretty costly. Most dealers (from whats been discussed on these forums) dont even want to do it.
It is the solution to your problem though and the reason i havent done a cluster swap myself.

 

The lariats also have a temp sensor on the inside to the right of the steering wheel
