Odometer/door locks

I have a 2006 F-150 that the lcd odometer has gone out and at the same time my door locks that lock automatically when you take off, continue to lock every time you take off after the first time it had locked. Doesnt matter how long I drive, everytime I come to a stop and start again, the doors are locked and you can hear it lock again.
Any suggestions?

Sounds like something really went south with the instrument cluster.

I take it, this is the odometer display is blank, not just the backlight on the odometer. Please confirm which you are talking about ( blank display or no black light ).

You can pull the cluster, and take a look for cold solder joints, on the back of the cluster. This would take a fairly good magnifying glass, and some time.

Do you have RKE ( Remote Keyless Entry ) on the truck from the factory ?

If you have RKE, the door switches run to the BSM/VSM ( Body / Vehicle Security Module ), if no factory RKE, then the door switches run to the instrument cluster.

If you can post the details on the your truck, or complete your profile, that would help is diagnoses.
