OK, I'm a bit confused.
The motor was swapped with the other rear door, and that did not change the condition on that door, but when hooking up the motor to a 12-14-or 16 AWG wire, the insulation got sticky.,,
Was this before or after the motor swap ?

If the output of the switch at the motor pigtail is correct operation, and the motor was swapped left for right, that leaves something wrong in the door, if I have the order you performed things correct.

Instead of calling it the window regulator, how about window track.
Same thing, I am trying to use the correct term ( I never have before ) , teaches me to do that

If the passenger side switch is correct operation, then the problem with the front could be carbon build up on the power side contact ( as shown in the picture above).

No, I tested just the motor with the battery and nothing (but rapid heat) happend. I purchased a new motor to swap with it, and that did not correct the situation. Then the passenger switch started working again, but the master still did not. Now both right side passenger windows exhibit the same problem - their independent switches work but the master switches will only work in the UP circuit.

From the traits going on and the things you and others have said about the carbon buildup, I think this is definitely a master switch issue. It was intermittent on the back right window and now both of them will not work from the driver's seat.

I had a similar problem with my Ford Contour, replacing the switches did nothing, replacing the motor did nothing, and I was not able to resolve the issue until I replaced the regulator.
