Short needed to be found

I am having trouble with my 2004 F-150 5.4l. Every time I turn the ignition from Acc to run I burn out the ignition switch fuse! I was told to disconnect the harness from the ignition switch and check it with an OHM meter, not sure where to put what. I am a novice when it comes to this type of stuff. Some pointers would be VERY helpful since I've been truckless a week tomarrow!

What does "not really" mean.

The only electrical modification made to the truck is to swap the starter out, else it is just like it was when Ford rolled it off the line.

nothing additional, remote start, remote entry, new head unit, amps, etc ?
