So i wanna hook up some fog light but am not sure whats the best way. Im going for hook them up to the battery and a toggle switch and just put an inline fuse is that ok? or would it be better to hook them up to a relay. whats the real different whats more safe if any? im asking cus im switching bumpers to a 06 bumper with round fog light and not sure how to hook them up?

 

Here is a simple diagram that allows the fog lamps to be on any time the parking lamps are on ( and the switch is turned on )



The wire from the switch to the relay can be routed out to the engine compartment for the mounting of the relay and fuse for the fog lamps to be in the engine compartment.
