Brake light help....

I need some input on a brake light problem I have. 2005 F150, I have blinkers and my third brake light works. I went ahead and shorted the switch, but just got the third brake light as before. My cruise also is not working, I can not find a wiring schematic on the truck. There has to be a diode of some sort for them to have the blinkers and blakes on the one filament. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What is the problem you are having ?
have blinkers and my third brake light works.
Do you mean the Left and Right rear brake lamps don't work when you put on the brakes ?
- When you put on the brakes, only the 3rd brake light works ???

What switch did you short ?

If it is the left and right brake lamps don't work, I would say problem with the MFS.

BTW : No diodes, that is a function of the MFS to route the flasher to the correct side. The side that is not being used for the turn signal, the brake lamp is routed through the MFS to the tail lamps.
