2000 F150 Battery Question

When I start my truck, the instrument panel guages (mph, rpm, temp....etc) start out in the postion they would be when the truck is off and then spin over to the right and then back to the left in the off position. And then about a 1 second delay and they go into the normal position.

It does not occur everytime I start the truck. I'm thinking a weak battery but just wanted to get some advise.

thanks

I've read this a few times on the forums. When your battery is dying you will see the gauges spike like that!

Make sure you spend the extra money and get a premium battery... Not something to cheap out on thats for sure!
