I have a 2006 F150 supercrew and the other day i ran outside on my way to a fire call and unlocked my Truck before i got there with the remote. when i got to the station i jumped out and hit the lock button twice and no horn. in a hurry i just said f it. When i got back still wouldnt work so i thought maybe i needed a new battery...Changed battery and still not working. Any advice is greatly appriciated.

 

Does the horn work from the steering wheel?

 

Yeah the horn works fine. The remote is not working=/. Im wondering if its not just the remote took a crap but wanted to make sure i wasnt missing something first.
Sorry just reread what i wrote in the first one. Only reason i put that the horn didnt work is cuz it honks when i lock my truck. Truck wont work atm is what i was getting at. Sorry

 

I assume you got 2 remotes, does the other one work? I had to reprogram one the other year for the wifes car that went bonkers and needed replacing. It was in the manual as I remember, might try that first if the other remote works.
