question about coil harness plugs

the electrical plugs that plug in the top of the coil on a 2003 cop 5.4..
well my question is, the little factory locks are not working well and some of these plugs are working there way back causing a miss sometimes..

any ideas on anything i could use to lock the electrical plugs in place ?

have though about maybe a small zip tie around them, or possibly die electric grease.. anyone else have any ideas?

Dielectric grease is to repel water & slow corrosion. It doesn't improve the connection or hold the connector on. Either replace the connector $hell$, or use zip-ties like everyone else does. Same for the injectors. Look up the connectors in the PDFs linked on this page:

i understand the dielectric grease is for moisture and corrosion but the tackiness i thought might help a bit, you say everyone else uses zip ties?

that may be my best bet then...

thank you
