Power windows not working

I have a 2005 f 150 lariat 4x4 S Crew, Yesterday my power windows started not working at all. You cant get them to work from the drivers door or any of the other doors. While looking around and trying to find the problem I noticed that the Heated mirror light comes on when you depress the window up or down button. Has anyone ever seen anything like this ? I would really appreciate any help. Thanks

Sounds like a loose ground, or a fault in the DDM/GEM. Do you have any aftermarket wiring anywhere on the truck? Have you owned it since new? Any wrecks/repairs/mods/water leaks?

i know my 05 XLT passenger window just fell down one day a couple of weeks ago with the truck only having 34K miles on it and very little window use. Damn motor and actuator had to be replaced by Ford, cost $390! I've heard it's a common problem in the 05's but I didn't really research it.

Steve83 thanks for the reply, I am the 2nd owner. I have not added anything to the truck that has to do with the wirring. My bank that I financed through did do a car fax report and nothing was found on the report. What is the DDM/GEM ? I made an appointment with the dealership for tommorow am. I have an extended warranty with the truck and might as well get my money out of it. Thanks again

Well, just got my truck back from the dealership. They fixed the problem, they said it was a loose ground wire in the door. Well it ended up costing just under the 250 dollar deductible so I guess they wanted to get their money out of me. Thnaks for the help. And yes the windows all work now.
