Keyless entry battery change
I changed out the battery on the factory key remote for a 1999 f159 xlt and still none of the functions work. Im going to check the fuse and some other things as soon as the winter storms subside around here. Any common trouble shooting suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks ..... Rick

Does the other remote work ?
You might want to download a newer MY F150 owners manual to get these programming directions, and make sure it was programmed to the truck.
Mind the time interval, I had to go at it 3 times on my 2001 to get into programming mode, and I could have swore I did it the same all 3 times.
Mind the part about having all the remotes you want to work at that time, entering programming mode erases all remotes.
