my air conditioner lights are flashing.
Hi i have a 2004 f150 and my ac keeps turning on and off. i went to drive home and i noticed they were flashing. i tried to turn on the AC and it started blowing then it shut off. I also noticed a wierd noise that i have never heard. I do have a after market head unit but ive had it for over a year . I need help.

Is this a manual or EATC system ?
When you say AC, you are talking about the HVAC in general ( heat or AC ) or is this specific to the AC position ?
Do you know if the wires to the back of the HVAC module are not pinched, and the cam over connectors are installed correctly ?

HVAC Display Panel Flashes ON/OFF
I just encountered this excact same problem tonight with my HVAC Instrument Panel Flashes on and Off while nothing on the panel will work.I have never taken this in or out and have the stock Stereo in place so it sounds like it fried on its on.I will take it to Ford in the AM since I still have 1 year of warranty left on it.Has anyone else had this happen? Thanks
I have the Lariat with the Auto Temp and I forgot to add that there is a tic-toc kind of noise happening somewhere behind this panel even when the truck is turned off?
