I think I’m going to buy this hid conversion but I don’t know where to start. I don’t have any wiring problems so anything goes. I have done a search for posts and I find a lot about color and so I think I am going to go with something around 6000K. I like white light better.

But i have yet to find a kit or name brand stuff where I can start my search.

This is where you can show off your HID's and tell me what you have. How was the install. How much did you pay and where did you buy them?

I don’t want some cheap eBay wanna-be kit unless that is truly what is working.

I found there web site. How do i know what the differance between the 90007 HI/low and the 9007 Bi-xenon is?

 

Hi/Lo kits are HID lo's and a halogen Hi
Bi-Xenon are HID hi and lo. theres a magnet or motor that moves the bulb up and down for the High beam and lo affect

 

So then the Bi-Xenon's would be better???

 

yes.... bi-xenon kits are better.... but they are more expensive. i have a bi-xenon 6000k kit and i love it. the bi-xenon is great because when you shift from high to low, the intensity doesnt change, just where it is pointing.

 

Who did you buy yours from?

 

i actually bought my "kit" on the classifieds here... but they came with 12000k bulbs. i didnt like them, so i then bought my 6000k bulbs from www.xenongate.com. the "kit" was a xentec kit, and the bulbs i bought were a different brand.... but they did work. the plugs for the bulb itself matched just fine, but the plugs for the solenoid to change from high to low were different, so i just cut them off and soldered them together. work just fine.
