blowing tail and dash lights

Angry blowing tail and dash lights

lost my dash lights and tail lights,took the truck to the dealer and they said it was just a blown fuse but to keep an eye on it.Well it just happened again driving up the road,lost tail and dash lights and fog lights.when i turned the truck off and got out i left the headlights on and that beeping noise telling me i left my lights didnt work either,,the truck is a lariot

Sounds like you need to get the rat out from under your dash.

It's a shot but check for a pinched wire anywhere near the tail lights or hitch if you have auxillary back-up lights. I had one on a station wagon I used to have. It was an easy fix though. Pulled the wire away from the area where it was in between two pieces of metal and taped it up. No more problems.

dealer found the problem! it was the license plate light ,shorted out and fried,friend of mine is a dealer mecanic,thank god for that,
