help asap!!!
well i was trying to make the lights in the lock unlock and window switches blue from green and now the lights dont come on at all.
The lights i bought were smd 0805 blue led lights. i unsodered the green lights then sodered the blue ones in there. plugged it in and no lights at all. anybody know the problem.
also the lights are smaller than the original lights
these are the lights on like the window panel that are green for the lock unlock and to roll the window up and down

2 questions
1. did you make sure you have the correct voltage LED ?
2. Did you check the polarity on the ones installed, and make sure you put the new ones in the same way ( cathode & anode directions ) ?

Then either could be the problem. You might have too high of a voltage LED, or you might have installed them backwards.
When I checked the master window switch, the voltage drop over each LED was 2.077 V. If you have higher voltage LEDs, they will never light.
If you have the correct voltage LED, and installed the Cathode / anode backwards, they will not light until you remove them, and reinstall them the other direction.

How long did you have the solder Iron on each led? Too long and you can also ruin them that way, My guess is you got the polarity wrong, electricity only flows one way through a diode so even if you only got one in backwards and the rest in right, and if they are wired in series none of them will work.
