mirrors with signals indicators
excellent forums. I own a 1997 f-150 4x4 , when did ford begin putting turn signal indicators on the outside mirrors , and could they be installed on my '97 f-150 easliy without to much trouble any help , thank you

There are 2 types.
1. is the Muth style, which are in the glass on the mirror.

These are dirt easy to add, I added them to my 2001.
2. The other type is the one on the edge of the glamor cap.
ChiDiver did his truck with these

depending on the trim level, you might have to do more wiring. XLTs in the '01 MY had most of the Lariat harness in them. I want to day '99 and older did not.
Muth directions ( for your MY ) have the wiring directions, if you use ChiDiver's method.
