Reverse Sensor Plugs

Anyone know where I can get some new plugs (the male end) for the reverse sensors? I replaced the sensors, but noticed that the pins were completely corroded out and gone. I just need the male ends attached to the wires and then I can solder them in place and properly protect them from the elements.

About the only thing I can suggest is to see what the pins look like, and find a similar one here :

http://www.motorcraft.com/products.do?item=23

File save as :
http://www.motorcraft.com/pdf/Pigtai...onKit_1of2.pdf

http://www.motorcraft.com/pdf/Pigtai...onKit_2of2.pdf

If you search on park aid in the PDF, you will find a few sensor connectors.they don't look to have the correct number of pins in the connector, but the connector pin type might be right ??

Else, just troll through the pages, to find one with the same type connectors.

Thanks SSCULLY, that was very helpful. I think it's one of WPT223, WPT796 or WPT 230. The first 2 look exactly the same, and I remember the connector being all black. So I doubt it's the last one. Do you know if the Motorcraft site ships to Canada?

Thanks again!

Not sure if they do, sure they would ship anywhere, just like Ford.
The other option is maybe with the Motorcraft part number you can cross it at a dealer to something else ? Depends if you like your dealer, mine I have no idea have not been back there since I got the truck.

Great, thanks! I've got a dealer in mind. I have had a decent experience with them. Kinda like the time I needed a key programmed in and most dealers were charging $135 CAD even if I had a chip key. This dealer said it would be $55 and the other's must be promoting their own Christmas specials. So I said I'd use them again.

Thanks for the suggestion. BTW, think they'll sell me one of those field kits? Me being a non-dealer and all?

Are you talking about the Wire Splice Tool Kit on page 2 ?

I am sure they would, but you would not want to see the price on it. Didn't see this on there, but the terminal release kit is USD$234.84.
Never hurts to google, check eBay, or if nothing else, ask your dealer. They see like one of the few good ones, so it might not be too bad.

I looked on the motorcraft page, and they do not see off the web site, only through motorcraft authorized dealers ( like Ford dealers, and other shops )
