Alternator noise

How can you isolate and eliminate alternator noise. When my truck is turning @ 1800- 2000 rpm I develop a whine that is heard thru the speakers, EVEN when the radio is off.

HELP!!!

Jon

You started two threads for the same subjet which is not allowed. I deleted the other one. Thanks.
