key fob

I replaced the battery in my key fob and now it does not work. The other key fob works as it should. The owners manuel states the fob will not lose its programming. What is the problem? Help would be appreciated.

Check to see if the battery is installed correctly by comparing to the working FOB.

If it is correct, switch batteries, as you know the other battery is good.
