Could be one of 3 things.

1. Function Selector Switch ( EATC I guess with a Lariat )

2. Blend Door Actuator

3. The other, that has nothing to do with HVAC, is the Speed Control Servo for the CC.

With #1, it could be the function selector switch itself, or the 2 AC pressure switches down stream of the function selector switch.

Have you tried putting the selector to Floor or Vent, and replacing the fuse to see if it blows ? If you use any other settings, the AC system is involved.

If you put the selector on floor, replace the switch, and it does not blow, change the temperature setting, to gt the blend door moving.
The temp setting is a potentiometer that changes resistance, and depending on what the blend door actuator sees for a resistance, is how much is moves between warm and cold air.

Try that and let us know what happens

yeah its stuck on floor. it blows the fuse no matter which setting I put it on. When on floor, I can do cold or hot, and its fine, the only time it blows is when I change it to anything off of floor. Last week, everything worked fine, but it blew once, and i replaced the fuse, and it was all fine for a couple days, and now its doing it all the time. so im just leaving it on floor until I figure it out.

Slight contradiction here, it blows the fuse if it is on any setting other then floor or vent, or it blows on any setting including floor or vent ?

If I understand your posting, it is fine when left on a setting that does not use the AC ( floor or vent ).

If this is correct, I am going to say you have a problem with the AC pressure cutoff switch or the AC clutch cycling pressure switch.
