I have a question about my driver side window. About a week ago, i went to roll down my window and it felt like it was frozen shut. I tried it again and the windown dropped down about 6 inches. It was completely loose and i figured out a way to push it up and roll the window up at the same time to get it to stick shut.

I was wondering if anyone had any idea what may have happened. The motor is still working, as it's able to securely close the window if i push it all the way up. It almost seems like the window dislodged itself. I have no idea how it works, so that's just my theory.

Any advice on past experiences or repair costs/time would be great.

also, if it is possible for me to take off the door panel and reconnect the glass to the bracket or base of the window, it would be great if someone could tell me how the door panel is removed safely. Thanks.
