Drivers side front signal not working?

OK guys as the title says my drivers side front blinker stopped working. For a coulple of days it wouldn't work when I first started driving, but after a while it would start to work? The indicator light on the dash dosen't work either? I figured it was the bulb filament bouncing around making contact randomly. I messed with it today and it turns out its not the bulb, I swapped sides on the bulbs and nothing changed. It won't work on the Hazards either.

Any ideas what it could be?
I checked the fuse and it was fine too?
Blinker switch maybe?

My truck is an 03.

worth a try, you need to eliminate things, flashers are cheap, try to replace that, if still nothing you probably have a wire rubbed through. does the parking light work on that side?

Are all of your other lights working?

4play is on the right track.

Thanks for the help guys. Yes the parking light works.

I found out today with some dumb luck that everything works normal with the steering column up, but when you adjust it all the way down it stops working?

Bad connection/loose wire?
Bare spot?

I'm not looking forward to tearing apart my dash

Any tips, obvious things to check?

Thanks Aaron

Pull the bottom of the steering wheel column cover off, and take a look at the connector under there.

This is a common problem with the wiring becoming tight over time, and it pulls the connector apart.

The test is to move the steering wheel, and if it works, it is usually the connector under there.

Pull the wire up from the dash side slightly, and zip tie it to the support frame.

Make sure the pins are not discolored. The clip on the connector might be borken, so you might have to zip tie the connector together.
quick search would show the threads on this topic.

Try turn signal not working or steering connector

Here is a thread that has almost the same words as yours :
