alternator question

Question alternator question

I finally got some time to start up my old toy... she needs a battery... Its a 97 Trans am it has been sittin for about 5 or 6 months. should the alternator be alright???

The alternator should be fine as long as it didnt get wet and was working before.

Throw a fully charged battery on it. As long as the battery is good the alternator does'nt have to work to hard at first.

The alternator need's Juice from the battery to create a charge.

Thanks guys, i will be installing a new one tomorrow. i will post a vid of the start up hopefully.
