bought some hids

bought some hids

so i broke down and bought some hids. I ended up buying apexecone 55watt digital ballast lo and high 9007 for my 2003 150. any one have experiecnce with these? bought them from ddm. i am hoping i did not make a mistake and get to much wattage? i will post pics once i install and get them.

I got 6000k i am hoping they are super bright.

I have 55-watt 6-k on mine and yes, it is PURE WHITE!
On my set-up there is just a very light tint of Blue/Purpleish color. Not Ricey at all!
I did do a projector Retro/Fit. Not sure if you are doing that too. But I think you will be very happy with the 6-k bulbs!

i also have 6K bi-xenon's in mine... man, what a difference !!! the color is awesome, but im kinda partial to the whole "pure white" spectrum. they compliment my putco interior LED's very nicely.

I do from a post I put up a week or so ago...
"New Retro-FIt W/ 6-k HID"

But I only have one showing the OEM headlamps, not of the OEM light output.

Sweet, Im soon to order one from ebay I need some advice tho which one to pick. So a 55w with ballasts is ok? I think I'll just go with what you guys have, since its compatible. Waiting for your pics now .

as far as everything i can tell my 55 watt digital ballast have been causing no problems for me. my headlights do get warm but i think it is nothing to worry bout it prolly got the same heat fromt he stock halogen bulbs. i will probably be able to get some pics for the lights tonight. i will try my hardest
