headligth help

headligth help

can any one tell me how to upgrade headligth or bulb from 2004 xlt supercrew? ligth looks weak any comments will be appreciated.

just put new bulbs in. if you have same bulbs in it that came with it new in 2004 that could b your problem. bulbs dim over time and after 5 years they may just need to be replaced.

If you are replacing the bulbs, look at getting the silver star bulbs. They have the regular Silver Star bulbs, just not the ultra version yet for the '04+ MY trucks.

I went from factory Sylvania t the XV versions, which had more light output, and then from the XV to the Silver Star bulbs, which had more light output then the XV. Considering I saw the difference in each upgrade, the old factory to SS bulb will be a improvement.

Anything else, and you will be needing to upgrade the wiring harness, and add a relay.
