HID high/low headlights and fog lights problem...

Hey guys just installed my HID 8000k bixenon headlights and 8000k xenon fog lights, but i have a problem. when i turn on the fog lights my headlights turn to high beam. I read around and it says that if i move my headlight ground from the ballast to a different spot it could fix my problem? is this correct? or is it more complicated? Thanks for the help.

This is a common problem with the 2004+ trucks. It can easily fixed by providing the fogs with their own ground. This stops the high beams coming on with the fogs and also allowed you to run fogs and high beams at the same time.

Here's a link to the instructions.
